Attending a Parenting After Separation course in Alberta offers parents practical tools and support to navigate co-parenting after a relationship ends. These courses focus on helping parents understand the basics of family law, manage conflict, and put the best interests of their children first. By participating, you’ll gain communication strategies, learn about the emotional needs of children during transitions, and fulfill court or separation-agreement requirements in a positive, educational setting.

You can also voluntarily do these courses if they are needed for personal mediation or parental agreements made between two parents.
