New Addictions Treatment Centre for youth

If you’re feeling ready for change, know that reaching out for support is a brave first step. Addiction recovery affects young people everywhere. As an Indigenous person you’re stronger than you think, and you don’t have to face this alone. Every step forward counts, and better days are ahead.

What kind of program is this? It is a 90-Day program that has a *26 week after-care process. That includes an Indigenous Approach to recovery.

What does it include? This program offers:

  • Indigenous cultural program with land-based teaching
  • Recreational Activities

Who is this program for? The <u>Okisikow Iskwew Centre</u> is for youth and young adults from ages 14 – 24. Clients must have a desire to become abstinent from mood-altering drugs and alcohol and have moved away from active addictions.

How can I get into the program? Referrals are always on an ongoing basis. You can also do <u>self</u> or <u>family </u>referrals for this as well.

Where is this located? The centre is in Frog Lake First Nation, Alberta.
