Youth Employment Connections Programs
The Youth Employment Connections Program is a special program for young people between the ages of 16 and 24 who need help finding a job. It is specifically for young people who have open active files in Child Intervention, TAP, and Advancing Futures The program helps young people explore different careers, learn important skills for work and life, and get hands-on experience through activities and job training. They also get help with finding a job and getting ready for work. There are different organizations in different areas that provide these services:
- Outcome Facilitation and Project Development- Brooks & Area
- YMCA- Medicine Hat
- Ballad Group- 500 km radius around Grand Prairie
- Prospect- Edmonton and surrounding communities
- Woods Homes- Lethbridge
- Woods Homes- Calgary
Referrals To apply to a program, connect with your CI or TAP Practitioner to fill out the YECP Consent to Share Information Form. Send completed forms and any questions you may have to [email protected]
To join the program, you need to talk to a specific person who can help you fill out a form and answer any questions you have.
