Looking for healthy snack ideas for your little one this fall?

Give your child the best chance for a good day at pre-school or kindergarten with healthy snacks. Here are some ideas that are easy to eat and won’t make a giant mess in the classroom!

Snack Ideas:

  • Apple slices with cinnamon
  • Mini butter and jam sandwich (sure, cut those crusts off!)
  • Fruit cups like mandarin oranges or peaches
  • Cheese strings and crackers
  • Granola bars
  • Dry cereal like Honey Nut Cheerios
  • Ok, Ok, carrot sticks!

Tiny Snacks Work!

When you pack your kids’ snacks, pack them in small portions, kids like getting just the right amount and being able to finish! Instead of sending six carrot sticks that look like an entire meal to your little one, just send two. Tiny snacks give them a better chance of actually eating it!

Dad Tip:

Make sure you have a few re-usable, small plastic containers with lids clean and available when you are packing snacks in the morning. Having the little containers ready to go makes it easy for you and is good for Mother Earth.
